Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS), is seeking a Director for Marketing and Communications (DMC) who will be responsible for providing vision and leadership to advance brand visibility; strengthen thought leadership; influence public opinion; and inspire engagement. Reporting to the Vice President of Development, Outreach and Communication (DOC), the DMC will direct efforts to increase LIRS visibility, presence, and engagement among multiple constituent communities including church bodies, local congregations, partners, other organizations and ministries, as well as, individuals through the development and implementation of LIRS corporate communications, branding, marketing, and constituent engagement programs. The DMC will lead and motivate a team comprised of public relations, marketing, multi-media, and creative services professionals, and serve as a strategic partner within the organization to ensure the implementation of strategies and tactics that affectively attract constituents to engage with the LIRS mission.
