|Position Overview-||Immanuel Lutheran School is looking for teachers who are Lutheran, grounded in the classical tradition, to teach for the 2018-19 school year.
We are a small Classical Lutheran school in southeast New Mexico. We are looking to add a classically trained Lutheran to our staff to complete the coming school year (2018-19). We are looking for candidates interested in teaching Kindergarten, 3rd/4th grade, and 7th/8th grade. Immanuel Lutheran School has 84 students in preschool through 8th grade. In addition to a rigorous classical curriculum, we also have daily chapel, specials in music, drama, quadrivium, and physical education.
If you are interested in such a vocation, we would love to visit with you. Please send a cover letter and resumé to Pastor Cholak, Associate Pastor and Headmaster. The faculty is a very excited, loving, supportive group that is striving to become the model of Classical Lutheran Education in The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod. We’d love to talk to you about joining that team and helping us towards that goal.
Lutheran Classical Education -- Preschool 3s through 8th grade. We have combined classrooms (two grades per room) and a teacher to student ratio of 1:16. We teach the truths of Western Civilization using the six chief parts of the Christian faith and the seven liberal arts. The mission of Immanuel Lutheran School is to train our students to live, think, and grow according to a biblical, Christ-centered worldview.
