Position Overview-Concordia Publishing House is seeking a full-time Order Processing Specialist. This position will have a variety of duties within the Envelope Department, ranging from operating equipment, setting up and staging orders for press operation, interpreting work orders to be entered in the system for processing, and preparing cartons, associated supplies, and processes necessary to complete church offering envelope orders. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to visualize the final product during the design/layout process.

Specific duties include:
1.Operate envelope press equipment for optimum performance. 3.Review all customer orders to determine the proper layout for the order and printing process.
4.Enter orders into the program for processing.
5.Prepare supplies needed to process orders.
6.Prepare machine for operation according to customer specifications, insuring accuracy, and inspecting sample sets before giving approval for the order to be processed.
7.Pack orders for shipping and/or warehousing.

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge and experience:
•Five years of experience in an operations/plant environment where technology was regularly used and strong attention to detail was required. Prior experience running or fixing machines is preferred.
•Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency using Excel.
•Ability to work as part of a team.
•Must be organized and efficient with the ability to multi-task.
•Must be self-motivated with the desire to always do a good job.
•Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
•Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds and use material handling equipment.
