Position Overview-Concordia Publishing House is seeking a full-time Programmer/Analyst to join us as we implement the Microsoft Dynamics NAV and knkPublishing Systems as the newest components of our mission-critical business systems environment. In this position, you will join our team of experienced programmers responsible for the implementation and maintenance of our key systems, including financial and business management, production management, subscription management, and warehousing / distribution. In this position, you will assist with:
•Maintaining peak operability of the CPH Business Systems by:
oImplementing changes to keep pace with new technologies
oTesting and installing software upgrades and enhancements
oInvestigating and resolving bugs and other software errors
•Improving and enhancing the functionality of CPH Business Systems by:
oIdentifying ways to improve the systems to benefit users
oAdding new features/enhancements through both analysis/design and development
•Leading project teams, providing knowledge of various applications, and leading the development of functional and detail design specifications. Work with the team to provide support for the development of project timelines and budgets.

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
•Prior experience with the operation and database structure of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV System, as well as familiarity with C/AL and Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Environment.
•Prior experience with RapidStart Services for Microsoft Dynamics NAV is preferred.
•Prior experience with Microsoft SSRS, .Net programming utilizing an object oriented approach, C#, SQL development (Microsoft SQL Server versions), SSIS, relational database design and normalization using Microsoft SQL Server, and crystal reports developer edition, and how to incorporate it into Windows applications.
•Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or equivalent experience.
•Three years of experience in a similar position, with broad knowledge of microcomputers, LAN’s, internet and office productivity tools.
