|Position Overview-||Delivers a planned and coordinated program of psychological services including the integration of general and learning specialist services. Collaborates with principals, faculty, and parents to support the success of students (academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally) and ensure that students along the entire continuum of learning capabilities receive equitable access to the curriculum, appropriate instruction, support and services. Assists in the identification of needs, services required, and developing Learning Plans. This requires consulting and collaborating effectively with various constituent groups (e.g. principals, faculty, counselors, parents) regarding students with identified learning needs and/or behavior concerns. Serves as a consultant during crisis intervention and leads the child protection program at the School. S/he also serves as a Learning Specialist with students across the School when necessary. This position requires frequent contact and collaboration with multiple levels of the school’s constituencies, including Head of School office, principals, teachers, counselors, and families and parent groups.
