|Position Overview-||The Regional Ministry Leader's primary responsibility is to grow the ambassador program within a designated geography to expand the external reach of our Mission through church communities and leverage all Bethesda resources, especially Faith Resources. Responsible for the southern region of US covering KS/MO/Southern IL/ OK/TX/AR/LA/MS/AL.
Education and/or Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree is required. A background in Christian ministry, social work, special education or experience with people with developmental and intellectual disabilities, or in Christian ministry, training in special education, or clinical pastoral education are preferred but not required. Must be a member in good standing of a Christian congregation.
Certificate, License or Registrations:
Possession of a valid driver's license and a good driving record as defined by Bethesda.
Up to 50% overnight travel within a designated geographical area is required.
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.

Essential Job Functions:
Ensure we have the right Ambassador talent to grow our mission and broaden our faith reach by recruiting, onboarding, engaging and retaining Ministry talent, with a strong focus on expansion of Ambassadors. Effectively collaborates within internal and external community including Volunteers, Auxiliary members, Operations team, and Development/Philanthropy team to provide internal resources for the people we support as well as staff.
Expand resources and training for field operations that can be used in-home to assist the people we support on their faith journey. As needed, provides virtual/on-call faith leadership to the people we support and our employees through challenging times, along with identifying local community resources and opportunities for integration into congregations and programs.
