Position Overview-POSITION SUMMARY
Developers in Emerging Products contribute to the creation and maintenance of web application. They are responsible for the internal and external quality of our source code. They work well as a team and are dedicated to learning and improving their craft.

1. Develop new features guided by automated tests
2. Resolve alerts in the target time
3. Refactor source code to clarify its intent
4. Contribute to the design (visual and architectural) of our projects
5. Learn new techniques or languages to grow as a developer

1. Has a solid understanding of Web development (HTTP, DNS, Client-Server architecture, etc.)
2. Competent writing HTML, CSS, and Javascript
3. Competent with Ruby and Rails
4. Experience with modern (ES6+) Javascript and Javascript frameworks (Ember.js.preferred)
5. Competent with Git, with Git-based workflows, and with deploying from version control
6. Competent with the Unix command line
7. Has a working knowledge of relational databases; can read and write SQL queries
8. Can write unit and integration tests and use test doubles
9. Can apply the principles of object-oriented programming

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable experience

At least 2 years of experience programming in Ruby as well as experience maintaining a Web application in Production.
