Position Overview-Concordia Publishing House (CPH), the publishing arm of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), is seeking Senior Print Buyer to purchase all products and services as they relate to assigned product lines in accordance with purchasing standards and procedures. This position is responsible for initiating problem solving efforts and finding solutions to the everyday activities of purchasing, including, but not limited to proofs, revisions, quality, printing and binding techniques, scheduling and delivery of products or services, press impositions, and press approvals as required.

This position is responsible for maintenance repair and preventative maintenance on various systems and equipment throughout the building. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other members of the Facilities Department to accomplish immediate and ongoing maintenance and construction needs. This position is responsible for identifying new ways for improving timeliness, cost savings, and streamlining procedures. Must be on call 24 /7.

• Perform necessary repairs and diagnose problems with equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain a schedule.
• Notify management concerning needed repairs to the building or equipment.
• Install compressed air supply and vacuum supply piping to equipment as necessary.
• Install water supply lines and tend to clogged drains.
• Perform repairs on plumbing and mechanical systems. Contact vendors as necessary.
• Maintain restroom plumbing, faucets, flush valves, water shut offs, and water piping.
• Utilize lockout/tagout procedure when working on equipment.
• Maintain HVAC systems.
• Monitor equipment controls for all automated equipment on Auto Matrix and VIPX systems.
• Work in a safe manner following all company safety procedures and using all PPE equipment required for the job being performed.

• Complete building repairs and upgrades as assigned.
• Remove snow and ice from parking lots and sidewalks.
• Assist with demolition for required projects.
• Assemble office furniture and assist with office moves as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have a two-year certificate from college or trade school with related experience in plumbing, HVAC, or related field.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read blue prints and schematics and estimate materials for a job.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, compressed air equipment and controls.
• Experience with HVAC systems.
• Must have general construction knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems. •
Ability to install piping.
