Position Overview-Full-Time
Concordia Publishing House (CPH), the publishing arm of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), is seeking a Marketing Manger who will proactively plan and execute high-quality, customer-centric campaigns that connect people with the mission of CPH to strengthen individuals and churches, meet business plan objectives, and achieve financial sustainability.

Specific duties include:

Develops detailed marketing plans and executes multi-channel marketing strategy.
Identifying core audiences and messaging for each stage in the customer journey.
Plans and executes awareness campaigns, including the CPH Blog.
Optimizes regularly for organic growth and defines processes for leading customers down the sales funnel.
Plans and executes content marketing campaigns for lead generation.
Monitors and adjust tactics regularly to optimize for growth.
Plans and executes conversion campaigns for frontlist and backlist titles, using sales history and goals to determine the appropriate product mix.
Works with the marketing team to develop assets for print promotion, including catalogs, mailers, and partner advertising.
Works with the marketing team to develop and execute tactics for major promotional sale campaigns, including the Warehouse and Thanksgiving Sales.
Regularly reports on effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Makes data-based recommendations regarding future direction and executes plans accordingly.
Assist with creation and implementation of annual business and marketing plans. Works to achieve results daily including sales, costs, budgets, and missional impact.

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
Three to five years' experience in marketing or related field. LCMS background preferred.
Advanced abilities with inbound marketing, digital marketing, data analysis and reporting.
Core abilities with Search Engine Optimization, Microsoft Suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Hubspot Marketing Software, and Google Analytics.
Intermediate abilities in public speaking, promotional writing, customer service, and market research.
Strong knowledge of CPH products, their features, and benefits.
Strong knowledge of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
