Position Overview-LICENSED NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR

The Lutheran Home for the Aged Association-East is a faith-based, resident-focused organization, affiliated with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, offering skilled nursing, assisted living, home health and independent living. Our community is currently seeking a talented and proven Licensed Nursing Home Administrator who is proficient in census development, regulatory compliance, team building, resident satisfaction, and financial management. The Administrator will oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned campus to ensure the facility remains in compliance with state and federal regulations.

As a member of the executive team, the Administrator is part of the facilities management team, works closely with the COO, and enjoys the collaboration and support of the corporate office team for marketing resources, policy and procedure development, and financial management strategies.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced healthcare operations professional with a passion for serving older adults. An entrepreneurial, energetic, collaborative, strategic individual who serves from the heart will succeed in enhancing the lives of those we serve. Our community offers a close-knit, supportive, and safe atmosphere with amenities conveniently located nearby.

Qualifications:
· Member (in good standing) of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod
· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Home Administration or related field with current Iowa license. Two years of experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator or similar role preferred.
· Possess effective communications skills to maintain strong relationships with, residents, families, employees, physicians, providers, government agencies and the community.
· Ability to ethically implement facility and organization philosophy of “Quality Christian Care and Service.”
· Current knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations and ensures compliance as required to provide care of the highest quality.
· Embrace an orientation for detail in overseeing the completion of required forms, reports, responses and replies to resident, families, and staff.
· Affirm a passion for always looking into the future from a resident/customer standpoint, as this organization strives for continuous quality improvement and innovation rather than simply maintaining its current success.

Salary will be commensurate based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Benefit package available.
