Position Overview-Circulation Customer Service Representative
Full Time

This position will assist Circulation customers and provide excellent customer service in a timely manner. The Circulation Customer Service Representative will answer 35 to 50 calls per day. This position is responsible for entering subscription orders, and processing address changes for label pulls. A successful candidate will have the ability to think through problems and make sure all steps have been correctly followed.

Specific duties include:
• Answer incoming calls in the Circulation queue. Assist customers with all aspects of CPH subscriptions.
• Enter new subscription orders as well as changes to subscriptions and cancellations accurately. Issue credits or gratis orders as needed.
• Respond to customer questions regarding subscriptions by researching information in THINK Subscription Management and relay it to the customer in a way he/she will understand.
• Become subject matter expert on all subscription programs to help customers with subscriptions and pricing issues.
• Make decisions as needed to serve the customer and resolve problems.
• Responsible for knowing the circulation calendar and understanding the label pull status and schedule of mail dates.
• Handle Maintenance Renewal process and make changes to subscriptions at renewal times.
• Maintain the integrity of the customer database by making address changes, insuring all duplicate accounts and perpetual orders are updated.

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook).
• 10-key ability.
• Must be detail oriented and a logical thinker that is able to meet deadlines and solve problems.
• Excellent phone and listening skills are essential.
• Must be high energy, enthusiastic, and dependable.
• General office skills include typing 40 words per minute.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience in a call center environment.
• LCMS background helpful, but not mandatory.
