Position Overview-Trinity Lutheran School is a small classical school for K-8 grade students. The 4th-5th grade teacher has widespread responsibilities which encompass many areas. This position requires class instruction in all subject areas (Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, and P.E.). In addition, teachers must organize their classroom, have lesson plans prepared to be turned in weekly and have materials ready to use before the lesson begins. We seek a teacher who can help to motivate and inspire their students to learn while striving for success. They need to lead by example, remaining professional no matter what the situation. The applicant for this position needs to be a member of the LCMS and willing to learn to use classical education strategies by attending conferences and in-services.
