Concordia Publishing House is looking for a Customer Service Representative (Bookstore Focus) to welcome customers, run our bookstore, and support our Customer Service Center. What You'll Do

As our Customer Service Representative (Bookstore Focus), you will:

● Open and close the CPH bookstore, merchandise resources, and transact bookstore sales

● Build, enhance, and preserve long-term relationships with customers

● Process sales orders, credits, returns, and maintain order updates through KNK

● Answer incoming communications promptly and conduct outbound campaigns

● Help with all aspects of a customer's needs

● Research orders, invoices, credits, and product information to resolve customer issues in a

timely manner

● Stay current on new publications, product changes, and special promotions, and make

appropriate product selection offers to qualifying customers

● Get to know CPH's customer types and how to best serve each one

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who brings:

● Excellent communication skills

● General office skills, including typing (40 wpm) and 10 key number pad, with strong

attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multi-task

● High energy, enthusiasm, and dependability

● Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook),

including a basic familiarity with Excel formulas and functions

● Adaptability in using different computer systems for processing information

● A High School diploma or equivalent

● Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment, LCMS

background helpful but not mandatory
