The mission of Holy Trinity Lutheran School is to provide Christ-centered academic excellence and care for the whole child that equips them for lifelong learning and service. In keeping with this mission, the job of the Elementary is to provide instruction and guidance for the students.

Duties include:

• Planning and implementing daily lessons for Grades 3-5 in specified subjects through the use of the school’s assigned curriculum and curriculum guides.

• Planning and implementing religious instruction for 3rd grade using the school’s assigned curriculum.

• Create a positive, spirit-filled classroom environment for the students.

• Challenging students to reach their full potential.

• Maintaining ongoing, positive communication and collaboration with both the other teachers in the Upper Elementary grades and the students’ families to work towards each student’s success.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. or B.A. in Elementary Education

• Must pass a Level II Background Screening.

• Christian active in their faith

• Classroom Management Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Self-starter/Pioneering Attitude

Preferred Requirements:

• Rostered LCMS

• 2+ years classroom teaching experience
