Position Summary

The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in coordinating marketing campaigns, projects, and editorial workflows that support the organization’s mission. This position is primarily responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage marketing projects, collaborating with the Chief Marketing Officer to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate the production and dissemination of promotional materials, internal client (development department, field programs department, etc.) deliverables, and editorial projects (update letters, blogs, monthly prayer calendar, Messenger, etc.) through efficient project workflows and regular meetings.
  • Work closely with the editorial team (editorial lead, copywriting, graphic design, videography, web, etc.) to implement project workflows that adhere to the strategic content vision and goals.
  • Capture and address requests for marketing support, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors (Corporate Copy Print, RSP USA, Power Graphics, Mittera) to ensure successful delivery of design and print projects while overseeing production quality.
  • Track project progress and metrics, providing regular updates to the Chief Marketing Officer and stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Preferred candidate will have a Lutheran background and strong knowledge of the faith
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and keep end users updated on progress

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Two or more years of project management experience strongly preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer or performing other tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 15 pounds
