Position Overview -

Job Summary: Part Time (22-25 hours per week)

We are seeking a compasionate Assistant Preschool Director to help lead our early childhood program. In this vital role, you will assist in the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. Your leadership will help foster a collaborative team atmoshphere, and promote a positive relationship amoung staff, children and families. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood development, and has a proven track record in early childhood education.

Child Care Center Assistant Director Requirements and Qualifications

Early Childhood Associates or above. or a CDA

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a child care center or preschool setting.

Previous supervisory or long term lead teacher role.

Knowledge of state and local regulations governing child care centers.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Microsoft ).

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Compassion, patience, and a genuine love for working with children.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Flexible schedule, Mostly mid-day until 5:30 hours.
