Concordia Technology Solutions Sales Internship

Full-time, temporary (Summer 2027)

Concordia Publishing House (CPH), the publishing arm of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, is seeking a CTS Sales Summer Intern to support Concordia Technology Solutions (CTS) demand generation. Working under the Manager, CTS Sales and Marketing, the intern will help churches discover ministry-fit resources, keep church records accurate in HubSpot, and reach out to churches with new opportunities the sales team can fulfill, learning HubSpot while creating net-new and reactivated church interest that the sales team can convert.

Specific duties include:

• Matches top-of-funnel church leads with CTS resources that fit their ministry needs and prepares clear handoffs for the sales team.
• Learns and uses HubSpot to update CRM records, clean church data, and keep ministry profiles current and usable by the sales team.
• Reaches out to churches with new opportunities for CTS to create value, using email, phone, and other approved channels under sales team guidance.
• Creates net-new church contacts and reactivations, distinguishing new interest from contacts already in the system.
• Supports daily and weekly demand targets set by the Manager, CTS Sales and Marketing, including list building, outreach activity, and follow-up logging.
• Maintains working knowledge of designated CTS solutions (including Church360°, Lutheran Service Builder, Shepherd's Staff, eGiving, and related products) sufficient to counsel churches at a top-of-funnel level and route qualified interest to sales.
• Researches church technology needs and ministry trends that inform outreach and resource matching.
• Assumes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable learning CRM software; HubSpot experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and web-based applications.
• Coursework or major in business, marketing, communications, theology, or a related field preferred.
• Completion of junior year with full-time undergraduate status
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
• Active involvement in campus life
• Active membership in an LCMS congregation

Internship Details:

• Duration: June 1 - July 30, 2027, with an optional one week of unpaid vacation.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Compensation: Interns will be paid at a rate of $16.00 per hour.
• Out-of-Town Interns: Students from outside the St. Louis area will receive a housing allowance of $125.00 per week. Interns are responsible for securing housing

Academic Credit:

Students may earn three hours of pass/fail credit upon successful completion of the internship, subject to their university's approval. Please consult your academic advisor for eligibility.
