The CTSFW Communications Specialist is a creative copywriter and social media manager who

works collaboratively with team members and other departments to advance the Seminary’s

mission through content that informs and engages Seminary friends and supporters, prospective

students, congregations, partner organizations, and the public. The position is full-time and

on-site.

The ideal candidate for this position loves working with words and reliably produces clear,

accurate, and compelling copy. He/she has a good sense for what makes people tick and is

adept at crafting messages that will resonate with particular audiences, whether in words or

images in print or social media. He/she is a dependable team player willing to go the extra mile

for the team and the people he/she serves. He/she has a strong understanding of the theology

and practice of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) and a passion for bringing to life

the Seminary’s mission of forming church workers for faithful service here and around the world.
