Position Overview -

Our Savior Christian Academy (OSCA) is a PreK-8th school with locations in Platte City and Smithville, Missouri. Both locations are in growing areas and with Missouri's addition of the MoScholar's program, which allows school choice, we anticipate enrollment growth. We are seeking teachers for both locations.

Duties include:

  • planning and implementing daily lessons
  • maintaining communication with administration and parents concerning student progress
  • lead daily classroom devotions
  • maintain an inviting and clean classroom
  • contribute to the cleanliness of common areas
  • daily duties may involve lunchroom and recess supervision
  • participate and encourage participation in school-wide events

Minimum requirements:

  • Christian active in their faith
  • Degree or certification in Early Childhood education
  • B.S. in Elementary Education
  • classroom management skills
  • team player who values the whole above self
