What You'll Do

You'll support the Editorial Department with production, editorial, and administrative tasks:

  • Prepare manuscripts for production, including styling and cataloging
  • Convert Word documents to InDesign, ensuring formatting accuracy
  • Maintain communication files and assist with author correspondence
  • Process corrections and reprint packets across product lines
  • Catalog and organize published products using library software
  • Maintain archives and advertising sample collections

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a detail-oriented team player with a love for language and Lutheran ministry:

  • Bachelor's degree in theology, English, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in editing, writing, or indexing (preferred)
  • Strong grammar and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe InCopy/InDesign
  • Familiarity with LCMS doctrine and culture
  • Organized, cooperative, and deadline-driven
