Position Overview - | QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, a successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. He or she must be a self-starter, able to self-manage, lead other staff, maintain a high degree of organization and detail orientation, and perform the duties and responsibilities of the position to an acceptable level as determined by the Senior Pastor and Church Council. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in early childhood development or equivalent, and one or more courses in administration of an early childhood program. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Interact with staff, children, parents, and congregation members in a Christ centered manner. Must be able to lead and supervise groups of adults and children. TECHNICAL SKILLS: Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiply, dividing and percentages. Have working knowledge of current technology and basic computer skills. Experience with financial software and educational center management software preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must meet state licensing requirements for certification and/or approval. Background checks will be conducted.
