Guidelines for Posting Positions

1. Congregations, RSO's, affiliated organizations of the LCMS, and other synod entities and agencies are eligible to request to post positions that do not require an LCMS certified or rostered worker.
2. Called positions for LCMS certified and rostered workers (pastors, teachers, DCE's, DCO's, deaconesses, parish directors of music, family life ministers, lay ministers and parish assistants) should be directed to the district president who provides ecclesiastical supervision for your congregation, school, or RSO or agency. 3. Job postings must have a deadline for submission of resumes and letters of interest. Postings may be extended from deadline; all that needs to be done is to ask that the listing be continued.
4. All postings must have complete contact information for the organization posting the open position, including an email address. The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod cannot answer inquiries from interested parties or candidates about any position posted on this page.
5. Posting of open positions will be based on a review by the Department of Human Resources of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
6. The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod will not be held liable for claims arising from use of this service, either from employers, candidates, employees or any other party.
